Rookley Park Isle of Wight.

Although this is a holiday park they have a 2.5 acre specimen lake run by Tim Oatley. Full tackle shop on site, clubhouse, indoor pool, arcades etc etc

Tim also owns Monks pool and Blackwater spot on chap, loads of advice and pointers. If you can't fit all your gear in the car he will hire you a bedchair. The lake is also a day ticket but you can reserve swims for you arrival.

135 carp from 20 to just over 40 no bream or focking tench !!

The trick is you go with the family book yourself on the lake for a couple of days and the missus takes the kids off around the island :ph34r_anim: everyones a winner :ph34r_anim:

Moderate to hard though, all swims produce and 95% are taken on carp companies gear.

Best of all with it being in the beautiful south the weathers always perfect :smartass:
