I used to live just down the road and often used to go over there, lot of trouble then from the pikey's gear used to go missing from those who weren't careful, tackle thefts still go on have a look around other forum's lots of details on the carpforum site a couple guys had all their gear nicked when they went ot Cafe ( why you would do that I don't know ), but the fishing is OK could always try and book the swims behind Heron point, gives you a lot of lake to fish but used to be on a back hander basis ( so I was told so not sure how you could get them ask in the tackle shop!)

there are loads of 20's

BUT Dan you should be on the Lea mate, last 3 wednesday nights I have had 12 fish to 23.5, 17 fish to 20 all bar one double's lost a big upper 20 Grassie ( guy watching thought it might have been a 30 enormous had her owe the net three times) then last wed hooked 18 but only landed 7 ( snags swim ) biggest 18.5 common, not going there tonight I want some rest so will be on Stilly unless there are too many on there.
Flatliner is currently on Mill for a few days although not caught yet.

Was thinking of that but now decided on whitevane as i havent fished that before and heard its ok over there !!!
