Matt from Utopia is fishing here on a busmans holliday this week as a guest of an english tackle dealer with exclusive use of the lake, and he is on 5 fish, 23, 28.10, 37, 41.04, and a 44.06 all commons I will keep you posted and get him to send me some pics when he returns, sounds like a reasonable venue!
Cheers Col

Pegs to aim for imo are 4 to 10 and 20,22(long chuck 110 + to the main bar) but anything around main island.
Pegs 4,8,26 and 28? (around bunker, you will see when u get there) were on fire when i was there.
Fish seemed to be travelling around main island dropping down onto beds of bait, but i suppose it will depend on time of year.
Blokey in peg 26 along island had it off with s$$$ loads of vitalin balled out 50 60 yds alongside main island
Hope helps :thumb:
whats the going bait & thanks for info

I really enjoyed the place matey except the problem with the French anglers i experienced at the start of the week.

Hi Guy, long time no speak fella.........
I was told by nick helluer its not a patch on the early days and that the fish have lost weight by the constant stocking of smaller fish...........add to the fact its very very pressured and the fish very line shy it can be very hit and miss............no doubt about it though, its has cracking looking fish and big ones too but not sure i would get on with the place so have passed it by and continue my search for the ultimate venue........ :thumb:
Good luck to all that give this place a bash though.......... :thumbsup_anim:

if this is the lake refered to, than yes it as potential!!
200 + twenties
130 + thirties
50 to 60 forties and 10 to 12 fifties with some of the pushing sixty.
but than again, the Toul area in france near the mighty river Mossele
is full of lakes (check this airial pic)
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k51/darklord36/toularea.jpg
as a matter of fact, I have been in this area (only two weeks ago)
to have a look at some of the lakes there, and I was very schocked on how many there are (and al of them have big fish)
and its only 343km from Leuven (3hours and 40min drive)
