thanks Colin, the weather forecast seems to change daily, 76's monday and Tuesday, then it drops over night to 55 on wedneesday, with a nice 14mph wind lovely ideal for not spotting fish! Still not complaining make the most not as intent as LQ so will be sipping a beer at 10am

I only fish particle over there Joss, they get feed Maize/Parti all winter, So I tend to use single Maize with a tiny sweetcorn popup fake on top as I think it balances the bait, I only use 10's or 9's which I never seem to have a problem with, just have to play them carefully but it is not like your hauling so an extra few minutes doesn't hurt.
Can only try, but I am a particle man, very rare I use a boilie in England, mind you I did have a few on the R&R popups a few weeks ago

well looks like it is fishing bad just spoke to Matt the owner, 10 fish this week smallest is 28lb so it's a good average, seem like the fish have become wary, also reckons they never spawned properly this year and the lake is full of naturals, so looks like might have to work for a few fish, Also reckons the bites are a couple of bleeps, sounds interetsing to me, ( oh Chan the fish are still showing and bubbling, ) so what the feck are people doing?

The weeks before they closed there were some good hauls. think my week should be just right.
