What a fcuking hard week! the temp went down to 4 at night and made it very hard work considering they had real good weather the week before although Peg 5 last week blanked!

I ended with just 11 fish that I would consider by most to be a reasonable week, but not really for me, still I had 43, 40, 39.12, 39.12, 39.0 29.13 and a few 20's, after 7 fish was averaging 36lb but it was hard work trying to buy bites moving the middle rod as I hadn't had a touch on that for 4 days, the tempature was so up and down really cold fogs in very early morning and then bright hot sunshine, no fish were having it during the day until Thursday when I had 3 but then the temp dropped again,

Still was a good social week, I must not mix with Matt as we dragged it though the gutter ;0)
I did two fish on cut offs but that is a problem with fishing slack lines I suppose it goes under things.
Steve also had 11 fish 40, 39.12 common and a few 30's and 20's else where really suffered.
Peg1 three fish biggest 39.01,
peg 2 blank,
peg3 1 30lb mirror,
peg 4 14lb mirror
peg 7 5lb cat
peg 8 3 very small carp

Booking same time next year but going to empty the place we wish!!!!

Jad is now on 6 fish including 1 x 43, 1 x 40, 2 x 39s, 1 x 21 and another over 30lb (not sure of weight). Also had a couple of bream.

His Brother in Law Steve is on 8 fish with one over 40lb.

Well Jad got there ok, no problems as far as the tunnel issues were concerned. Managed to get in Peg 5 again so he's happy.

Got a text from him last night at 22.40 to say his first fish was in the net - 40.00m. It was pissing down and he was knackered.

Good start :thumbsup_anim:

we have a 5am check in spoke to the ferry company and shouldn't be a problem just might be a slight diversion getting there so leaving an hour early just in case, hopefully should be having my breakfast about 6am ;0) all ready loads of bait and bits so any open water swim and I will be happy, with the chnace of a few forties!

No mate, there are two cars, it would save about an hour I think but it ends up costing me twice the price, got the 5am Ferry as normal, nice leisurely drive down there, and of course breakfast on the ferry most important that, reckon on 10:30 at Utopia so with luck first carp in the net by evening meal! seems it has been fishing well this week, think it is either 4 or 6 forties , a mate spoke to Matt, I know people out next week, So lets hope those bigger fish are feeling hungry!
