Back out to The Ebro tomorrow for 5 days :thumbsup_anim:
Carp & a bit of Slug hunting.
Also if anyone is interested in buying a place out there,
my mate is selling his place in Riba-Roja D'ebre.
Plenty of land & nearly half of mile of river access.
God I'm going to miss it when it goes. :thumbsup_anim:

I am sure its Mackenezer ( not sure about spelling)

The German camp is in Meq,  and so are the bigger Cats ( 200 + ) ....... I will fish down there if my cliants want to ....but you have to be preperad to have less fish, while you wait for the big one ....you also have to be prepared for the conditions down there ....fishing of a concret block

I much prefure myself to fish away from there ....A) because you will get more takes and land more fish and B) because of the amount of presure Meq recives.

as for where I fish ?? ...which ever erea gives me the best chance to land more Cats and Carp :thumb: :thumb:

as the aparment is right on the river its very handy to pop back for the toilet or a cold bear :thumbsdown_anim:

here is a veiw from it ...so you can see how close it is :thumbsup_anim:

just got back from Spain at 4.00 am this morning and allthough the river was the highest I have ever seen it and realy pushing through, we still managed some realy nice fish ( we actualy had more in one day than several of the other guided anglers had in a hole week :thumb: :thumbsdown_anim:

The best Carp was 37.00 lbs :thumbsdown_anim: and the best Cat was 137.00

Here are a couple of typical Carp as most are 20 +

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/zzsgng/DSCF0746.jpg

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/zzsgng/DSCF0749.jpg

Must admit not as nice as the ones in my lake  But them I suppose Im biased :thumb:

Here is a couple of shots of the Big Cat

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/zzsgng/DSCF0753.jpg

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w179/zzsgng/DSCF0756.jpg

As you can see a two man job to hold them for the camera

I think we have booked with some german guides, the fellas I am going with have all had cats to 170lbs on the trips they have been on over the years, and say june and july are the best times of the year to go
