i have done the portsmouth - st malo crossing.........loved it to be honest, got pissed and slept it off like a baby.........woke up like sh*t though....... :lol:

Have done St Malo a nice long boat journey that, seem to remember getting a inside cabin for about £12 so could have a decent nights kip.

Have use quite a few of the different ports over the years ....and yes depnding where you are fishing in France ....some of them give you less of a drive :lol: :lol:

I have always travelled over to the Mainland and to France through Dover Calais,some of the guys over here are thinking of Rosslaire Le Harve,or Cherborg(16 hour crossing).
Anyone used other Ports and are they any better for getting to certain areas in France.
