Fished here twice now and done ok both times. Last trip was september 2009.
Had loads of sturgeon upto 36lb 5oz but the carp wern't having it. Just caught a couple.
The water is small and very shallow About 4' but slightly deeper early on in the year 5'6" max.
Lake record is about 48lb. & there are some nice cats in there.
PVA sticks, halibut pellets and stinky baits do the trick here.

I had the caravan so didn't need all the crap like bivvy, bed and cooking gear.

Hello mate, welcome to the forum.

I remember looking at this place a while ago, I was gonna take the missus to France with me and wanted a venue with caravan/lodge.

It looks a really nice lake, and for £850 a week for caravan and whole lake, it can't be bad.

Some good hauls have been had by the looks of it, and the hosts sound like nice people. You should enjoy it. :thumbsup_anim:

It's on my list of future possibilities.
