If I am not mistaken most waters on here apart from a Les and Les Talliats are drive and survive so you can fish any of them. :thumb:

Exactly. I can remember playing a biggun from the boat, knowing that my other rods were still fishing while the headlights of a car approached down the track. I sat in the dark without breathing and prayed that one of the other rods didn't go off.

One piece of advice if you are going to "risk it," wear a set of small scissors round your neck so that you can cut your lines as a last result. With no line on the rods you ain't fishing.

the last result hahaha I know the feeling
had some close incounters, with garde de peche!! never been caught though :thumb:
but over here its legal to fish on the river, so no problem
Ill fish on the lakes in france where you can night fish with no problems

but there are alot of sections you can fish at night, or if you like to camou yourself
than maybe you stand a chance.
if you got a boad with outboard motor, than you can go places of track
and thats where you have to be.
leave your car in a town, and explore by boat :thumb:
thats adventure!! thats what carp fishing is about

I live very close to the Saone and the night fishing zones on there are very limited, or at least they were last year but anything can happen out here. A couple of years ago they relented and let us night fish almost anywhere and then about two months into the season they changed it all again. Obviously we carried on night fishing and bluffed it out with the Garde de Peche but I wouldn't want to go through that again. I was checked at two in the morning and the GDP had two gendarmes with him who were tooled up with automatics. You don't argue with them fellas.

correct me if im wrong but you can legally purchase night fishing permits now for most of the rivers in france and there are a few places like domain des isles short term stay places
did think of renting a motor home for a month park a dingy on top small outboard and fish france via a pull up and fish wherever basis

hi all
as many comercial angling venues (in france) are owned by english
and are most of the time on a all inclusive packege/basis (from saterday till saterday)
wel Im on the look out, for good waters, stocked with a few lumps (as many as possible)
that ceater on a self drive/drive and servive bisis (and a good price)
and where is is possible to just book for a few days, a weel or longer!!

you know as a belgian angler (and alot of my fellow belgian carp anglers)
we mis out on alot of the waters in france, just because of the all inclusive (and for me only english anglers)
we as continentals, do not have to cross the channal, so cost is less to fish some of these lakes.

so any info to such lakes, would be more than welcome
Thx
