yeah its a very nice water to fish, but like I have sayed not the easy runs water
(with 50 fish in a week) but on accations its fishing realy wel
and than you are in with a chance, to hit the jackpot!!
I have been there 2 times last year (with some friends)
2 of my english mates where there already (for a week) and they did quit good with fish upto 48lb+
I had 2 fish a 40+ and an upper twenty (and lost one) my 3 belgian friends
I went with all blanked!! (this was the first trip)
the second trip (about, 2, 3 weeks later) with my mate Jurgen
was again not to bad for me, no blank (2 twentys) and 5 sturgion!!
My mate caucht a big RAT on the last night (so he did not blank aswell LOL)
its not an easy place at times, but on the 10th of May Im off again to fish it again for 4 nights (hope I have more luck this time)

Right ok, there are alot of lakes in france (where you book a swim) and fish for a few days or week!!
wel last year I got in contact with Franck (the frence owner of the very nice lake) via a friend.
I was looking to fish somewhere special in france and this was on a self drive and servive basis
something Im keen on when I go to france.
the lake is an old gravel pit of 11 hectar, and as a well ballanced stoch of originals (the big boys) and new stoch (stocked about 3, 4 years ago)
its not the easy, haulling water!! but if your up for an adventure and the chance for a few big fish if your lucky enough, than franks lake is the place to be.
there are 9 swims on the lake (1,4,5,6 and 9 are dubble, 2 angler swims) and (7,8,2 and 3 are singel, one angler swims)
price would be around €300 per angler per week, but you can also book (for say 2 or 3 days)
for more info contact Janet or dave on 07891778676 or email them at jananddave@ntlworld.com (english speaking)
