While we was out there I took Trish to visit one of my old hunting grounds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)

The mighty Lac Du Der

The Church swim

Trish reading up how the lake was created and the church moved from the flooded 3 vilages

Just back from the lake (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)

and three very happy anglers.

Think the thing that I will rember most ....is how happy we made an angler and his Dad (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)

Mike and his dad Bob .....jouined the syndicate just last month ....and after talking to Mike on the phone, he told me that he had been looking for somewhere to take his dad, who had never fished abroad before and his PB was only 16.00 lbs.

His dad is in his 70's and Mike said he wanted to take him to catch a big carp before his age means its to much of a problem.

Mikes Dad had taken him fishing since he was a lad ....and he realy wanted to pay him back for all the good times they had had (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)

Well they had a cracking week and mikes dad not only landed his first 30+ on his first take but every fish he caught beat his old PB (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup_anim.gif)

Paul stayed in this swim for the rest of his trip and landed a further 15 carp (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He commented to me that they where realy on the bait and he nealy run out, the more he put in the better they liked it.

During the week I did take him out to the local intermarch and the area just down the road by the church, where you can dump all you rubish and bottels in the bottel bank (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

While paul was fishing I carred on working on the lake and the mobile home, I was determing to get as much as I could done for my next trip with Trish.

Twice I decided to paint the mobile home and both time's you can guess what happened ....it Rained
I did eventualy get most of it painted, but I think it will need a nother coat next time Im out there .....I also worked on the area around the mobile home and there is now a seating and barbeque area.
