Tommy I e mailed you my feedback . I am not complaining just expressing my opinion on the venue .

Infact I think the venue is great but just needs a little mor work on the rules or how they are applied . Some lovely looking fish in the lake aswell, and of course I could have cooked my own food !

strange that so many anglers re book for a trip at skylake, after there first visit!!
and many are very keen on coming again.
there are always ppl who complain, about small things (or how this or that sould be)

and than put this on a forum (bad publisety!!) instead of talking to the owners/bailifs.

this is a sad thing .....

Tommy De Coooooornt....what the fcek are you on about ya hobitt... :thumb:

Just got back from Sky lakes .We managed a 26 fish between 4 anglers . 5 forties to 47 . However I was expecting the levels of small fish , my mate had 7 fish 2 twenties and the rest singles . Have these fish been put in ?
The venue is great but facilities and food are poor . Two nights we were given a chicken fillet in batter and fries and a sauasge type roll and friees with the meal costing 8 pounds .
All the bait I bought was good quality but the advice from balliff to put in 100kg smells of a money making scam . We were told that the fish only come to plastic but caught half the fish on bolilies including 3 of the forties .

Two anglers to our surprise were allowed to use bait boats with a rule of no bait boats and of course they did well with a couple of lumps .

must have stocked it with small fish.........wish venues would tell you when they do this sort of thing......

That's this venue crossed off...... :LMAO:

The owner told us that therte was a max of 12 anglers yet he had booked 13 ! A small point the website says two sausage . 2 bacon for breakfast yet we only got one of each .lol
