CRYSAL WATERS FRENCH CARP FISHERY 2008

The 2008 season started on the 1st March and it has started brilliantly with 8 anglers fishing the lake during the middle of March and they caught 53 Carp during their one week stay under the circumstances the weather was extremely cold this was a great result, the largest caught was 34lb.

During the close season we have installed a further 1∙5 tons of quality carp into the lake they were mainly 30lb plus with the largest scaling at 40lb.02 the quality of these carp said it all that they had never been caught before, so there’s a challenge for our punters.

We have had a work force down on the lake updating the facilities and improving what is already on the lake. We originally purchased toilet/shower units which had reasonable shower heaters but we have replaced them with larger amperage showers that meet our high standards, we have fitted mobile telephone charger shelves within the shower block and benches to lay your cloths on when having a shower all for the comfort of our clients.

We have clad the outer lower section of the restaurant unit with close wood boarding, fitted new kitchen units, tops and sink with a new dish washer to save time. We have laid a large patio concrete base outside with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas and a barbeque area for eating outside in the summer. We have erected a wood structure balcony on the rear of the restaurant unit for our customers to sit on and discuss their days catch.

We have installed two new pier swims on the beach so that you can bring the carp into the bank safely without damaging the fish, extended the gate swim so there is more room for the Bivvy and a lot more space to get the carp into the swim. We have erected two bailiff 10ft x 8ft sheds with electric heating and lights for their comfort, well they do have to look after the guys fishing on the lake so we have to give them the best, any bailiffs out their want to try the best give us a call.

We have appointed a very professional coach company to take our full package clients down to the lake in absolute luxury they have a 20 seated executive coach with on board TV & CD facilities and Keith (Backdraft) Standley has said that he will being along some of his CD’s not sure what he meant by this but he said “The punters would know what he meant” Again we only chose the best for our customers. We have now completed the internal structure and liveried the equipment trailer that has been specially built to carry your fishing equipment safely.

We had a very successful Five Ways Hotel Exhibition the punters were swarming over our stand and John Wilson came to visit the stand and was impressed with the lake facilities, since the show bookings are increasing by the day.

We hope to see you at our French lake during this season but if not we are already taking bookings for 2009, 2010, 2011 so don’t be disappointed book now because it may be to late.

As yuo guys know, i've been over there..and i was properly impressed with the place...form the stunning surroundings to the lake facillities...

The fish are coming on well now, with loads of growth rate, i'm sure its going to supprise a few pple this yr...as for the yrs to come.......watch that crystal space.

Knowing the pple who run it like i do.......the service and quality of the whole package...no one's going to come away without booking again.

Well done Crystal Team...you've worked ya backsides off, and now you'll see it bearing all the fruits of your labour
