Ive only got £200 to spend on bait so i don't know what to do

Hiya Will. So you took 20Kg last time and didn't use it. In that case stick with 20Kg and you'll probably bring some of that back as well.
If you buy 20Kg at LQ prices it will cost you £150. As you live in Sidcup You may find that you can get it cheaper than that, Poachers and Solar aren't far away from you. I don't know if the offer still stands but Poachers were doing good deals for forum members.
So my advice is stick with 20Kg and keep the change from your £200 then if you run short you've got some cash to buy some more bait while you there.

I like Joss would throw stone sin to get their attention and use about a kilo of bait for hook baits :thumbsup_anim: That saves you a few quid Will

I am taking 20kg altogether and needtwo othergood reliable shelf life boilies as i am worried about freezer baits over a week.

dont confuse your self with bait fella...........but one thing i would advise, is not to use shelf live baits...they are full of crap preseravtives.......if i were a fishery owner, i would ban them....

so should i definately take more than 20kg because last time we went we took 20kg in april 5th 2008 and had loads left over.

Id personally go with minimum of 40kg but it depends on how your going to fish it, if you want to get throught the smaller fish and hit the biggers ojes then your want enough to keep the fish occupied !

i think you may find its a tad different now that they have taken alot of the small fish out......

a good quality bait will catch anywhere will_new

So are you saying the main lakes have now become the new bay as all the small fish are in them :thumbsup_anim:

I dont think i could just go with 20kg of bait though, especially if other anglers are fishing that and competing with you to keep them dont care how many fish are in there?
