Its a corner swim with a margin, easy enough to find the margin drop off and the weedbeds. Came out last in the draw and did`nt fancy the open water so picked a margin. M8 who I went with fished other corner, nearest the road/railway.

Weedbeds = Food Larders = Carp

The deeper holes I had initially located with my marker rod (and the boat & fishfinder) confirmed.
As soon as the weather n wind changed on the Monday of our trip, my margin spots suddenly died. Moved my traps out to the deeper holes which I had been baiting up all week and they started to produce (well a couple of fish to finish week off).

Im sure you`ll have a good trip................ :thumbsup_anim:

our map is for guide purposes , smog did find a big hole

drafty plotted the original map which to be fair is fairly acurate, remember smoggies trip the lake was well up so the average depth was a lot higher. Smogs has kindley offered to do a 3d survey of the lake, once this is done i am hoping that it will show most of the features....
