Do you think it has anything to do with the removal of the snags from Jurassic bank that has pushed the fish out back into main area of lake ??

Or even that the Chat population seems to have almost dis-appeared from the Old, that the fish are getting to the baits first (as opposed to the leftovers or even hookbaits only )

Does seem to be comfortably outfishing all of the complex so far this year :thumbsup_anim:

How do you know nearly all the chats have gone Steve?

That makes ya fishing a little bit more comfortable, although i dont mind them to be honest as i think its gives the carp something to investigate and home in on, Im sure the carp must have a go at eating them too?

Juts over 4 weeks till my trip!

it all goes in fads fella, just like any aspect of carp fishing i suppose....

you've only gotta look how the long has progress over the past yrs. The old had a major set back due to the floods, and in its previous hay day the old was always the one....its just recovered back to or better than its previous days.

I wasnt interested in fishing the old because i had a good hit out of the table that year and thought id struggle to match that from that lake, 4 years on and it is different ball game, only a few swims i would fish though to be honest and they are

NTC
NCC
Point
Middles
Jurassic

Elf and Long both owe, once ive achieved what i want from each of these lakes il move onto another venue..

i reckon the bay is the new long lake, the long is the old elf, and the elf is the new seine. the old has got multiple personalities, and hasn't really got a clue what it is any any given time so has given up and gone back to sleep.
