Probably take a lot longer than that now.
If you applied 1 year ago you'd probably have to wait another 8?

There was a thread on plastic bags in trees a while back, I've tried to search for it but I can't find it. Perhaps it was on the old site?

I personally have used a plastic bag on one occasion when casting to a bush on the opposite bank and then walking around to drop bait in only to find all the bushes look the same.
However I do agree with Joss that they are an eyesore, I reckon only use them if really necessary and always remove them.

well said mate, if you put the dam things up, take 'em down

Dad fished this on july 22nd trip this year and took 38 fish to 39lb from there he was casting about a foot off the far bank , you will see a carrier bag well if you come back about 10 ft from that theres the spot.

He also fished about 60 yards out to a bar or plataue and action was consistant up until about thursday !

I've never been attracted to this swim much as it has never done much whenever I've been there but I heard it can produce.
I heard of people casting to the far bank and dropping their rig in, how far is the cast to the other bank?
