just back from a week on the top lake, very nice looking fishery, clean and well kept, the cabin was all good except for the sofa bed which was the hardest thing ive ever slept on,the owner andy was a very friendly and helpful bloke .mrs gooner had hurt her arm on the sunday before we went and after playing a 12lb common she couldnt fish anymore of the week  although there are fish up to 30 in this lake i never found them,i managed 51 carp ,mostly doubles on light tackle which was great sport,3 x 6lb tench and a 4lb bream and the biggest feckin crayfish ive ever seen  the moment of the week though was when one of the boys on the main lake forgot to put his baitrunner on and his whole pod and three rods got dragged in,his mate did an olympic dive after it and managed to rescue the pod and 2rods,he swam 30 yards out for the other one, priceless.im going back next year on the main lake for sure.well worth a look
