Same place as we go. Made some very good friends at Turtle Bay (both British & Kenyan)
Can't wait to get back & have another crack at a monster Marlin.
Have had Striped, Black & Blue up to 230lb but would love a 500lber.
Caught Tiger Shark to 1200lb & loads of GTs, Yellowfin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Barracuda, Dorado & Kingfish.

The Mrs and i stayed at the Turtle Bay back in 96. Did a bit of fishing and we caught nowt...Would go back for sure as the place is stunning.

Thats the the reason i've been back 7 times.
The Kenyan people are amongst the friendliest i've ever met.
Nothing is too much trouble.
Spent alot of time at their homes.
Always willing to share what they have (normally feck all)
The kids are fantastic & it's been a fantastic experience for my 2 boys.
Took my youngest when he was only 18 months & the locals have
watched him grow up, as I've seen most of their children.
I sponsor one child so he can go to school (uniforms, shoes, books, food etc)
That cost me £100 a year. Feck all in the grand scheme of things.

We used to fgo or a month every year in Jan, stayed at Turtle Bay Beach Club All inclusive, went for 5 years running and then we had the litle one :suicide_anim:

The resort is right next to Hemmingways hotel, a very famous place. even though we were all inclusive we used to pop down to Hemmingways the odd lunchtime and have a few of their very famous cocktails :thumbsup_anim:

Also went fishing from there a couple of times, caught some nice sailfish and some fecking big tuna :thumbsup_anim:

Cracking place I agree Stu
