a bloke i know blanked with his mates for a week....another seperate bloke i know had a 39 and lost 1 in snags.....out of 4 trips and 12 anglers...none are returning

My mate blanked, lost one on an adjustable zig.

Still some very nice looking fish though. And they take out anything under 20lb to put in the stock pond.

Very interesting indeed. They have some big plans for this place. Will it be able to compete with the already well established competition?? We will have to wait and read the mag/forum write ups i suppose.

Its not going to be an easy water. very deep and used to bait boats (now banned). The rewards can be great but don`t go if you can`t handle the blanks.

Looked int o the venue before Mr. Fairbrass took it over, it looks fantstic but a bit of a challenge by all accounts.

Has anybody fished the lake prior to the recent purchase with any feedback.

Couple of 70`s, 35 acres, boats & 4 rods previously permitted

Only got this info by chance of seeing the Free Korda Vol. 2 DVD given out at my local tackle shop

A lot of changes compared to how it used to be run. No more boats, 3 rods only, 12 anglers max.

He is making the right noises, will have to see if he follows them through.
