Thats ok for starters. What you need to do, is re-write it when you pack it so you know where everything is. For example:-

Right pocket of Rucksack -

Spare line
Pop-ups
Carp care kit

Left Pocket of Rucksack -

Mug
Plate
Cutlery
Tea, coffee, sugar.

You get the idea. Sir Blankalot does this all the time - I did it for the first time last year and its much better than having to empty everything out just to find where you packed your XXXX.

Not to much rely

We have bait covered but I have asked just in case any one has any venue specific tips

Tackle is no problem (got enough to open a small shop) just need to sort a new bigger bivy, and maybe get a rolling pin for stalking !

Travel , mate has mini bus we are all going together and share costs , the ferry already booked (not with speedy ferries)

Passports and insurance is already sorted

Drive and survive is no hardship (pelnty of pot noodles)

We have been told loads by the owner, but as nice a guy as he is , you have to take everything with a pinch of salt after all he is selling it, and its his livelyhood.

I have not heard a bad word spoken about this place but I have not heard much about it at all !

I did write up a list , of bits and bobs equipment and other bits shall try to find it and post it on here for you all to rip to peices !

Going to do my first ever French trip in May

Four of us are booked on to Redmill lake none of us have every been there before and two of us have never been fishing in France before.

I have posted about this on a couple of forums , but still would like any info advice you have.

I can seem to find many people that have fished it , that or there not talking about it ?

Already been told to take at least 60kg of spod mix, partical and freebies , I was planning on around 10kg

So any advice would be greatly welcome whether it be traveling advice, venue advice, bait, tactics does or dont's

I have already upgraded my main line to 15lb from 12lb just in case.

Thanks in advance

Mark

looks like you got some serious homework to do bloke..
