Gooner,

I never said it was a bad move. I just moved out of a supposed top swim into a non fancied swim. It worked for me but feel it was a high risk move. like i said, luckily it paid off!

its your holiday...move where ya like fella...no one else's concern is it.

Whats really annoying is that i pulled 5 out of the hat on the coach and got next to Coypu. Blanked for 3 days and moved to middles. I got slagged off on here for doing so but pulled out a 43lber, my biggest of the week. Now, by reading the posts on here, it seems that next to Coypu is now a top swim. Typical, i bet i don't get a chance to choose it this time!

Coypu is a top swim, when the fish are there...same as any swim...fish do actually have fins and move around, i know loads of pple who have go in "top swims" and struggled. a swim cant keep producing week in week out, yr on yr.

if you moved and caught then how can it be a bad move?,like i said the old seemed to be the lake to be on last year, but that could all change this year, never a guarantee whatever the swim that ya going to catch, seen number 1 struggle a good few times, still think if your prepared to apply yourself and for example walk round and bait up or make that extra cast to be spot on the mark that youll winkle one out of any swim at les,its the cooooooooornts that sit on there arse waiting for the fish to climb up there lines and jump in there nets that struggle :thumbsup_anim:

You can try here
http://www.carping-a...php?showforum=4
I had read up on each lake and made plenty of notes but couldn't come to any firm conclusions, too many conflicts.
Every swim has it's day and what may of worked for one particular angler on one particular week may be disasterous for someone else.

I remember the food being good although was starving by dinner and had to have liquid lunches of stubby bottled kronenbourg!

I'm well looking forward to it. Just have to read through all the posts on here for top tactic tips!
