When they first started you booked a lake and there was no more than 6 to a lake.

But if you think about it the Old and Elf normanly have 7 fishing it, so if someone from the long wants to move it could put 8 or more on them.

only 7 swims on old and 6 on elf since the bottom of elf went

I ain't moaning. All I wanted to know was how you moved swims if you could'nt have more than 6 on a lake. It seems as though thats been cleared up that you can move as long as you don't muscle anyone out.

I've Never needed to move ............plus I don't think I could be bothered,I'd rather stay in my Bivvy & play with Posh.

No one said I could'nt move, the decision was at the draw not to allow a bloke on the old because 6 had already chosen to fish it. Don't know why. I then assumed that meant that you could'nt have more than 6 on there for the whole week and the only way to get on there was if someone else moved out. I did'nt approach the bailiff and ask cos I was happy to stay where I was. Now I know you can fill empty swims if you respect others then happy days.

Come on then it's my turn again to be ripped up for arse paper. When I went to LQ last year and the draw was done 6 people had chosen to fish the Old and a seventh person chose a swim on that lake only to be told that the lake was full cos only 6 people could fish there. So if there are 6 people on each lake I take it the only way you can move swims is to stay on the same lake or agree to swap lakes with someone in advance thus keeping 6 people per lake. Mkae sense, I hope so.

Who told you, you couldn't move?

to be honest mate i think it all realy depends on the baliff you,ve got.ive seen some say no problem and ive seen others say no the lakes full there should be a set rule in place realy to stop an confusion, not like its a big deal anyway realy i dont see the problem a swim is there to be fished at the end of the day as long as your not taking the piss and start fishing on top of someone else! but you no what some people are like they see you catching a few fish and what a piece of your action!!!!!

They say that it should be 6 on each lake but it depends on the other anglers fishing the lakes if they are happy for there to be more on then they allow this..

The baliffs choose this to make it equal and everyone has a nice amount of water to fish without being wedged in between someone..

Even on that week Jad, there were still 7 of us on the Long, so it blows the 6 per lake theory out of the window.

Like you say, he was advised not to fish there, not told he couldn't.

Who was the baliff who told you that Big Tim?

yep never had that before either the only time someone did not take a swim was on the long peg 25 about 3 years ago as it was suggested there would be too many up that end so the guy choose another swim, but don't think there is a restriction on where you can fish. I know they have cut the number of swims down a bit now but if it is an open swim then you should be able to move.

Joss the word of god hasn't spoken yet

Must be a ballif thing, don't think none of the swims bother each other like the elf does.
