they quickly suss who to check and who not to though don't they - especially as there's a lot of "repeat business"

Guys do you not think that the people who used barbed hooks on a no barbed lake, leave line in trees/swims,
rubbish in swims etc are the same people who spit chewing gum on the footpath, leave rubbish everywhere
and dont give a toss about anyone but themselves anyway.(grumpy old man alert, grumpy old man alert).

Great story Mate who is ex special forces lives near a school, parents park up everyday waiting for their kiddies
matey watches guy put full ashtray of ciggie butts out onto road outside his house a real mess. When he goes mate lifts it ,next day follows chummie home and as he parkes in his drive way my mate deposits fag butts in his front garden and stares chummie out.Not a word said mate makes it plain as he notes down address that there will be no repercussions.

Love it :thumbsup_anim:

well im glad to hear its been noticed that was whole reason of putting it on here, far to many people think they can take this p*ss at the cost for other anglers, and if that means rig checks have to be done then so be it,if thats what it takes! its simple you no the rules before you go,stick to them or run the risk of a long train ride home....end of

its got nothin to do with me helpin or bailiffing mate, its was a stupid suggestion. When you have pple coming in at brekkie and at lunch time, i dont thimk you appreciate the effort behind the counter...i know i didnt befoe i done it mate. There are more ways to check rigs than just walking round at certian times, most anglers these days use quick links and if pple know when check are to be made, pple will play the game...its easy to see what ppel are up to, just listen for a cry of an alarm, wander up and have a look at the rigs in action...if you get my drift....if pple think barbed hook are an advantage to playing in a fish, them they are stupid...there is and always will be the age old argument regarding whats causes more damage, but thats a different debate.

I sense when I mentioned you do it on your weeks as a helper I ran into the wall

You know I went to Uni, does`nt make me better or worse than the next bloke and yes I thought my post was an excellent idea, to save on the rig checks during the day, you have the option of checking everyones tackle at meal time although not every day, just at random :thumbsup_anim:

Furthermore if any coooornt is taking the piss by leaving the rods out whilst they are having their grub (you know it happens), it gives the management a chance to get the van ready to take em down the station :thumbsup_anim:

Sorry you have lost me with this one how do you mean? :thumbsup_anim:

syndicate waters ive been on and I think most others, people are vetted or interveiwed to get some sort of idea if they know what they are doing as regards carp safety and general carp fishing, The idiots dont get on or there soon kicked out.

If you know rig checks are going to be carried out, it shouldn't matter what time of the day it is done.
If people knew when to expect them, the stroke pullers would be able to carry on!!
If a bailiff asks you to reel in all 3 rods once a week what is the big deal when you look at the bigger picture and the long term welfare of the fish?

i agree mate,its not a big deal.... :thumbsup_anim:

Unsafe rigs and Barbed hooks are just the tip of the iceburg, Theres a lot of so called Carp anglers that go to Les Quis that cant even hold a fish. :thumbsup_anim:

1 Guy was sent to the train station for Spraying eveyone with water whilst they were eating, Think this was the final straw after a string of events.

And lets face it if Les Quis was a syndicate water 80% of us would not get on. :thumbsup_anim:
