Anyway...... the low point to follow

Bank Holiday weekend i decided to take my 5year old lad Jack with me whoose been nagging to go for a while so with all the extra food, sleeping gear , Bloody Bivvies it was a major trip to organise.

Sunday the 24th we roll up to the lake and set up camp. By the time the rods are out and sorted it was time to get my head down. At some point in the night i started getting a few strange liners and yes by daybreak they were starting to spawn. I explined to my boy that we were going to back up as it will be a waste of time(and i hate fishing when they're at it)

Before we could pull off i had a take which turned out to be a foul hooked fish! Not just any fish but one of the 3 target fish ive been desperately after for a while....... a 37lb immaculate Common.!!!!
I can't begin to describe how desperately gutted i was-to be honest i could have cried.
(Icidently i weighed it just to know how heavy it was)

So there you have it my PB UK Common on the bank and it was feckin foul hooked. GUTTED

Oh well i guess its nice sometimes just to be there......
