Tooooooooooooooo many Pikeys live near and around Farlows, wouldnt catch me on there wake up and ur rods will be gone!

dont want to steal ya idea gooner, but i could easily book stanwick for us...its been fishing well

we are the carping abroad forum/club/society as far as im concerned,would have to test the water but sure with the credit crunch there not going to turn down trade :unsure:

hello mate

jambo ere. if you want to book the point at farlows, have a look on the carpforum.co.uk ( i think ) . look at farlows and look for martin stoneman, hes one of the ppl who runs the bar now, speak to him and he might sort you out for a weekends fishing. e-mail him mate see what he says.

fished farlows for years, nice lake n all that, cracking fish some of them, just a pity on some people who fish it.......if you get me drift.
well worth a look tho as they have got more security measures in place now, locked gates at night and cctv too. to be honest , have not had any problems at all myself on the theiving front, but yes, it has happened in the past, but if you walk round and see where people put their gear around their swim then its no wonder to me that things get stolen.
put everything away out of sight, literally just have rods outside door of bivvy, if using one, landing net by side of rods etc...
but you wont have any problems if you are in a group tho anyway i would of thought.

hllo ppl, you would be very lucky to all fish the point where the bar is, normally bailiffs and mates who fish on there, so unless you know a bailiff dont think you got much hope on that one for a sosh.

who fancies a forum trip to farlows ,we can book as a club/society and get the island,cafe,bar and tackle shop /and showers on it,think theres 8 swims,anyone up for it?
