Guy mate it couldnt have gone first coz Kieth (blankin cavalier) was in first hanger and it is he who has moved int ncc and had the 55 and he drew 11, also a 38 has come from ncc although i belive kieth was on the loo at the time LOL.
out of interest who moved into 1st hanging????

Couple of 40's or a 38 and a 55 which would you prefer?????????? :angry2:

One of our party got NCC, the sun had cooked the skin off his back by 4pm so he moved over to the Middles for a bit of shade.

Keith 'shared' a 39lber whilst still in 1st hanger. He was back in time from the sh*tter to land it, but told the lad in the water as he was there already he might as well land it. He promptly did so, but was a bit surprised when Keith asked him if he wanted his photo taking with it. 50/50 fish are always iffy, so back it went without any.

Once Keith moved, another one of our lads moved in (1st trip) from the Back of Bear and had the 2 40's and a high 30.

Keith also lost a biggy in NCC apparently.

Right result- :thumbsup_anim:

But the bloke who then jumped in behind your mate into 1st hanger had a couple of forties on the same day.......

Happy Days all round. :(

1st Hanger went No 1 in the draw apparently or was that last week.....?

My mate who has just moved into here has just landed a 55.08 mirror. Moved from the hanger bank which wasn't doing a great deal.
Will keep you updated as I hear more!

Here are the comments from the old website.

11. 2nd down from the Xmas tree

Comment: No Carp Corner is a good swim, though it usually does not fish well for the full week. If free a good swim to move into for last couple of days (handy for gear to not far to move it)

Big weed bed in front means horsing fish through it sometimes. Tree line is excellent
there is also a bar which runs from the disused swim between you and Beach right across the lake can be fished from Middles, Xmas tree (bailiffs) and Next to Coypu.

Comment: I have fished no carp corner twice now and I agree it didn’t fish all week long, the first time was 5 yrs ago and there was a large weed bed to the right and all most filled the corner where the fish visited all week but I didn’t get a take from there , my 5 fish came from the right hand tree line about half way along where I found a gravel patch, I’ve since been told there is a bar across there but to be honest I didn’t find it !!!!!

Comment: I think they should be considered a double swim, as one can cut the other off, I never liked next too just open water unless you wade out and cast down towards bailiff.
The bar definitely runs from the old disused swim you can see a few wooden boards, its easy to walk round the path and bait close in.

Comment: fished this swim on last night of trip last July had 4 up to 47lb, un-pressured end of lake all fish came from right margin close in
