Yes I think Matt is going to have a weed problem this year started last year to be honest but I hate trying to drag the fish though the weed and personnally think he will lose quite a few clients due to not being able to sort, At leats Wayne has hooked a few just the problem of getting them out. The close weed is the problem can get them from the clear spots but not when they are under the tip in weed. Shame about his week and we though we were too early hmm prehaps we had it better, as I noticed the amount of growth under the tip whilst we were there.

Just an update, most of you probably DID NOT know that Neo was at Utopia this week, wanted to keep it quite for obvious reasons. Anyway there are 6 of them on the lake and conditions have worsened since we were there last week. The weed is getting worse and the bream have started to spawn, which in turn is ripping up the weed even more.

Neo is blanking like a coooooooooooooooooornt though  , he has had 5 bream and lost 6 carp to the weed. Only 10 fish have come out all week between the 6 of them :Ignore:

Its the type of weed that wherer ever it is ripped up and deposited it grows in that place, so all the clear spots will also soon be weeded up, its a shame as its only gone like that in the last year or even less.

Anyway I do have permission to start this thread from Neo himself, his words were, I am used to the pisstaking anyway
