sept 06

alot of people dont fancy this swim as you dont have a lot of water in front of you ,but the fish are always moving threw this swim as they move from jurassic to the point .
right hand rod
you need to speck to the fella in jurrasic to see if you can fish the dead tree as its his water ( i was fishing the side of it and the guy in jurrasic was fishing front and he had loads of 30's off it )
if so in the day time you need to be within 2 ft of the tree but at night you dont have to worry to much  when you have cast out make sure you spray 20 baits every 2 hours and you will get runs as the fish are just sitting in the snags waiting for food

middle rod
there is a dead bramble tree about 1oclock put it as close to this as possible and bait with a fair bit of bait lost a real big hippo from here wednesday night :thumbsup_anim:

left hand rod
i started with a rod in the little bay but found a nasty snag so didnt fish it any more but moved my rod to nearer the tree line towards the point and picked a few fish off here

all i would say is you need to fish locked up and be sitting on your rods ,as if not all the fish will head for the snags and if you get then out of here they will kite right into jurassic ,so be prepared to jumpin to stop them getting round the corner , i lost most of my fish which kitted right into jurrasic as i gave them to much side strain and slipped the hook

i ended up with 15 fish to 43lb and lost 8 which is not bad fishing as we had a rock hard week and i used 45kg in this swim as i was baiting the spot's heavy as wanted the fish to stop on my spot ;) had fish crashing every night on my spots because of the bait but as soon as i hooked one they would sod off and not come back for a fair few hours

the night i lost my hippo i pulled in a sleeping bag out of the lake which i hooked ,so one less snag for you boys to worry about :D

My Mate Ear Lobes fished this the other year and had over 30 fish but lost well over 20 all to the same snag as below, plus a fea coooockkk ups....
he fished 2 rods to the far margin and the other in the middle on the zig which picked up fish all week,he also had a few fish on his left margin as the fish swim around the point.

He could of done better but he only took 15 kilo of bait and he was using my from thursday onwards so he couldnt over bait as the place was alive with runs..

Here are the comments from the old website.

15. The Table

Comment: I fished my right hand rod towards the dead tree to end of it , middle rod to the same tree but tight and close to bank and the left rod was fished towards the blue bag tight again most of my fish was coming from the middle rod, the tree I’m on about is fishable from Jurassic so will need to speak to the angler there ! Had 29 fish to 44lb.8 and lost about 17 fish! The key to this swim I think is to fish as tight to that dead tree as possible but lock up cause there is a snag just to the right of the tree and I lost a very good fish to this! I pulled out No 16 in the draw!

Comment: All the fish I had from table came from the bush just to the right on the far bank BUT you must be very, very tight, be prepared to lose some leads
